This is the maroon short kurta done with intention. The deep maroon base is rich and confident on its own, but it's the all-over script print in cream that makes it something else entirely. Scattered calligraphy-style characters, each one different, covering every inch of the fabric. 

Wear it over black jeans for a night out, over blue jeans for a casual fit, or with a white pyjama for a complete kurta look. Maroon is one of those colours that photographs beautifully — warm, rich, never washed out.
